The Playground is without question the "Forbidden History" that no one is supposed to know about, for it takes you on an incredible journey that you'll never forget for as long as you live and you'll learn a great deal more about "Black History" which includes the "Crack Plague" that hit black America as well as what transpired in Africa prior to the Atlantic Slave Trade, than you'll ever learn during black history month since the primary focus of black history month is to bring attention to what transpired while blacks were enslaved in America and thereafter. And I make the aforementioned bold statement without any hesitation or reservations whatsoever because you see The Playground is more truth based than any Gangsta Rap song that you can find on the market today since it reveals certain historical facts about the criminal underworld that the Gangsta Rappers cannot. And to be fair to the Gangsta Rappers that are just trying to experience the American dream and that are just trying to eat like the rest of us since they can't very well get the kinds of well paying corporate jobs that will allow them to sustain their present lifestyles; they're under multimillion dollar contracts, so they are limited in what they can ultimately say since this is how the corporate structured music industry works, however, my uncut and unmolested and fictionalized and truth based novel will take you to foreign places like India and like Colombia and there's an unbelievable twist to the story that you won't see coming and you'll find out why drug dealing and domestic terrorism go hand and hand. Now in addition to what's already been said. The Playground is a gritty Gangster novel that takes you on a journey through the lives of Sophia and David Bloom; mother and son who are forced to move to a Housing Project that's located on the Eastside of South Central Los Angeles after a family tragedy robs them of their financial wellbeing. And their move takes place just before the rise of Crack Cocaine and before the decline of Heroin and it puts them in direct contact with dirty Cops, F.B.I. Agents, C.I.A. Operatives, Gangsters, Drug Dealers, White Supremacists, Thieving dope fiends of the worst kind, Revolutionaries or Domestic Terrorists if you prefer, and other shady representatives of the United States Government.
But that's just the beginning because you see the aforementioned twist to the story is only part of the "Forbidden History" that I alluded to earlier and what you should know about the twist is that it is unbelievably "True" and it provides a modern day real life example to back up its claims and it will prove to be a "Paradigm Shifter" for the uninitiated. And I personally invite you to learn who Damu is and who Warlock is and if you're a Gangster or an aspiring Gangster then you cannot afford to be without a copy of The Playground because it reveals the truth about the forces that were at work during the 80s and the 90s; the players haven't changed and this is what needs to be understood by those that desire a life in the criminal underground. Trust me. Hollywood doesn't even come close to the harsh reality that's known as the street life. Now if you're not a full fledged Gangster and are at all curious about the real street life or about what really went down in South Central Los Angeles during the 1980's and 90's, you'll definitely want to read The Playground. And if you want to know what the Gangsta Rappers have left out, then you definitely need a copy of The Playground because there's a hidden message or a hidden "Gangsta Code" if you will and that only the truly astute will be able to decipher and it will change the way that Gangstas and that ordinary citizens view the world that they presently live in since the Gangsta World is an all encompassing reality in and of itself.
Nothing that takes place in the real life criminal underworld should be considered as happenstance. Everything is a means to an end and the astute reader will need to determine what that end is and whether or not the game plan is still in play.
In The Playground you will find the term "Ghetto Hermeneutics" as well as a rational and complete explanation for the syntactical use of the "N" word. You won't learn this in an American classroom, for it is part of "The Gangsta Dialect" or "The Black Tongue" or "The Gangsta Tongue." In addition to an understanding about the aforementioned "Ghetto Hermeneutics" and the syntactical uses for the "N" word, the reader will also find prison sex since you can't have a true to life Gangsta novel that doesn't involve real life prison situations since everyone that's serving time can't be a Pimp or a Player since the Gangsta World, which does indeed include the penitentiary, needs females in order to function as a cohesive society.
Now in addition to what has already been said thus far, the reader will find Ghetto Wars or Gangsta Wars in The Playground. Plus every facet of American life is represented in The Playground since everyone is connected to the Gangsta World in some small way or another whether we acknowledge this to be true or not. There's a particular double agent that you'll be interested in reading about. Plus there's a US Senator/CIA Assassin that will amaze you by what she has to say about what it takes to become a CIA agent. Find out what the CIA has to do in order to try to contain a problem that they created. See if you can figure out the twist before it is revealed. Learn what is being kept from you and how black culture and the world at large have been forever changed by what transpired in South Central Los Angeles during the 1980s and 90s. What transpired in South Central Los Angeles is what changed the face of America while giving birth to Gangsta Rap which was just getting its start while the real life gun battles and the drug deals that were being rapped about were indeed taking place on the mean streets of America.
The Playground tells the real life drama that the mainstream media won't talk about and that the alternative media won't touch due to the guilty parties that are involved. If made into a movie The Playground would change the world since it tells the story from the perspective and from the vantage point of a real life Gangsta and Hustler that beat the odds and that survived the mean streets of America.
The Gangsta that inspired The Playground was my uncle and he worked for the Central Intelligence Agency during the 1980s and you won't find more hard hitting action than you'll find inside my novel since I pull no punches and simply tell it like it is.
In closing my novel is 632 pages long and it comes equipped with multiple black and white photographs that will allow the reader to see the backdrop of the story and it retails for $29.99 and you can pick up a copy at amazon.com or through booksamillion.com or through barnesandnoble.com and the ISBN number is 1608447669

The field that you see before you is the same field that the Gangsters or that the Gangstas ran through after the ambush.
